My Grandma Sindland, She knew how to pinch a penny! This outfit, by the way, was rented.
That is what my grandmother Bertha use to always say but apparently the old saying doesn’t always translate with some politicians. My friend Christine Stuart (with CTNEWSJUNKIE.COM) and I were chatting at the State Capitol today as local lawmakers were trying to figure out ways to cut the fat out of the budget. Well, to my surprise and to Christine’s as well, we could not figure out WHY the Secretary of The State’s office would FED-EX a package to her considering the press office is just four floors up. That’s right, you heard me, four floors up! Check out her posting below. If that is not bad enough, I didn’t get the State Blue book ( a bible of sorts for State Government) that Christine got! I feel a little left out. I would have even stopped by the office to pick it up myself and save the taxpayers the Fed-Ex charge.
