RELL TAKES ON RUSH!

RELL SAYS BRING IT ON! (WELL, IN SO MANY WORDS)
The Chairman of The Republican National committee, Michael Steele, maybe apologizing for his remarks about Rush Limbaugh but Governor Jodi Rell doesn’t seem to mind taking jabs at the conservative radio talk-show host.
When asked today about Limbaugh’s recent remarks about how he hopes President Barack Obama fails, The Republican Governor lashed out at Limbaugh.
“I think Rush Limbaugh speaks for himself and a few selected people,” Rell said while at an event today in North Branford. “No one wants to see anyone fail.”
When Rell was asked if she thinks Limbaugh is the voice of the Republican Party, Rell said, “Some would like to think that! I don’t!”
We’ll see if Limbaugh goes after Rell now like he did Steele for saying similar things. Limbaugh, in the meantime, says he wants Obama to fail in implementing, what he refers to, as socialism.
Meanwhile, if Rush decides to go after Rell, he needs to know that he is going after a soon-to-be Grandma for the 3rd time. Rell’s daughter Meredith is in labor in Colorado with Rell’s soon-to-be second Grandson. Rell’s son Michael and his wife recently gave Rell her only granddaughter.
Another apology for Boss Limbaugh?
The controversy about Michael Steele and Rush Limbaugh (who I don’t really particularly listen to anymore) is more than about Rush. When the liberal talk show host said that CPAC looked like a bunch of Nazis Michael Steele nodded in agreement.
Some said his nodding wasn’t in agreement with that statement but still at the very least he was quiet and did not speak out against that outrageous statement.
This is more than about Rush the person. This was about the speech he gave and if you listened to the speech and agree with it then it is not only Rush but you, and all other grassroots conservatives that Michael Steele has rebuked in the harshest of terms.
Well, if that is the way the “leader” of the GOP feels about me then I say no, no, no, not God Bless the GOP, GOD DAMN the GOP. It isn’t the party I thought I knew!
Oh come on people – this Rush thing is absurd at best and is merely a diversionary tactic by the Liberals to keep people’s attention away from real problems like a tanking stock market and devastated economy. As long as people are squabbling about Limbaugh et al. they won’t be looking at the billions more being extracted from our pockets.
Wake up America.
It’s called “a shiny thing” tactic
(hey, look at the shiny thing over there)
